How we helped
Asbestos Survey Type Recommended :
We recommended that an Asbestos Demolition Survey was completed on the buildings which were due to be demolished.
What was involved in the survey :
- Desktop survey carried out and risk assessment (Pre-site Survey)
- Agree a date and time with the client for the survey to be completed
- Prep and Provide Survey Plan to the Client
- Meet client at the Newark property
- Surveyors walk round to familiarise themselves with the layout
- Survey starts with expert asbestos surveyors inspecting all parts of the property
- Samples removed for laboratory testing
- Make safe any areas which have been sampled
- Debrief with the client and take samples to UKAS Accredited Laboratory
- Trained surveyor to write up survey report and implement sample results , provide recommendations on any asbestos identified to the client within the report.
Conclusion :
Even though there were several buildings on the farm , it was only the ones which were to be demolished that required the survey.
